we chose the Templeton in Templepatrick for our venue... it might not be the poshest place around, but we loved the atmosphere of something smaller, and the cosy feel. We have been for quite alot of meals there and have never had any complaints!(touch wood lol) plus they have only 1 wedding a day and is handy for all of our guests :D
were on the coxunt down now, under a year arrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggh lol

We chose the Greenvale in Cookstown - very reasonably priced and the food is gorgeous. Location was also ideal.

We booked the Burrendale in Newcastle as it is close to my home and would be most handy for anyone that has to travel a big distance.

I went to visit the Galgorm Manor last week. I was really impressed with the grounds of the hotel. If you haven't been to see it yet it is well worth a trip.

yea the prices are scary but tbh its not much different to anywere else, the only real difference is the deposit is high, but the way im thinkin is that the money ur puttin down is part of wat ur payin for the whole thing so ur gettin more outta the way!!

dont think i could stretch to galgorm tho, i have priced loads of places and there are quite a few that work out considerably cheaper than galgorm...i recently went back to work part-time recently after having 3 kids, so im saving like mad-when i couldnt work(3 under 6's and childcare costs were unreal lol) there was no point in talking about a wedding cos we just couldnt stretch to it, now we're planning though its like a military operation trying to get the cheapest yet best deals on everything!

we ended up steering away from galgorm!too much money, and with the prospect of up to 3 weddings a day we wouldnt bother!

were getting married in Parkanaur Manor House in Dungannon, only takes us about half hr to 45mins to get there and its a beautiful place and the manager is fabulous!
plus were allowed to bring our doggies!yay!!
only downfall is they have no accomodation but we can stay in either bank house hotel or tullylagan so its all good!!!

so excited ladies!!!xx
