We have budgeted £3000 for our honeymoon, however I think we have under-estimated the cost of honeymoon as £3000 will not cover the standard of hotels we are looking at.

4* & 5* star all inclusive hotels in Mexico appear to be approx £2000pp for 2 weeks.

We are getting married this September. In our case, we don't have to bother about the honey cost as that would be fully bear by my family.

There is no point spending a big amount on four or five star hotels. On your honey, throughout the day you are not going to stay in the hotel. If I were to be you, I would find out a good two or three star hotel and the saved amount can be use otherway.
